Drawing Scanning & Conversion
We are able to scan any quality of drawing of any size or any colour, up to and including A0+, from 50dpi through to 600dpi. We can convert a paper drawing to a CAD file if required. Our prices are competitive and we are able to scan in excess of 15,000 drawings per day.

Aperture Cards, Microfiche or Film We utilise specialist equipment to convert your film media to electronic files for easier search and retrieval.

Document Scanning
We can make it possible for you to search and retrieve electronically any piece of paper. In turn, this will make your staff more effective and will save time and money in finding those documents that would otherwise be lost or mislaid. Further savings can be made on the office space and overheads required to store paperwork. We are able to scan any size, color, weight or type of document using our high speed specialist scanners. In addition to normal documents we scan books without removing or chopping off the spine using a specialist book scanner. Weather you want to automatically capture data from forms or surveys or just have manual data entry work completed. To improve accuracy Data Direct always utilises a double entry verification model to ensure that we consistently get it right first time.

Our Commitment
Data Direct LLC takes every precaution with client's data, during transit, storage and document processing. Occasionally, as with all processes that involve human interaction there can be mistakes made, whether it be a miss-scanned document or an incorrectly typed entry during data capture. We would however, like to assure customers that our processes are intended to reduce this risk to as much as possible. In these circumstances, Data Direct LLC can only assure its customers that every effort, at our expense, shall be taken to rectify the problem. Quality Processes
To ensure we scan every piece of paper that is sent to us to the required specification we have implemented procedures well in advance of those required by ISO 9002; our operation has to be absolutely perfect every minute, every hour and every day. We are so sure of our methods that we invite clients to come and see them for themselves prior to releasing their documents to us. We shall provide collection and delivery notes which detail the movement of documents. It is vitally important when managing clients documents that a tracking procedure is implemented. This allows for full accountability not just for Document movement but through all of the document processing stages. We have considered every aspect of quality, security, logistics and storage to ensure the safe processing of your documentation.

Data Capture
Data Direct is able to capture data from document using special recognition tools such as OCR, ICR and Barcodes. This is especially useful if you have a large quantity of documents which are the same, for instance questionnaires, application forms, survey or reply cards. Our systems will scan these types of documents and automatically recognise the contents and insert them into a database of your choice for later use.

Data Entry
It is important when searching for electronic files to associate keywords or index fields in order for you to find them. Data entry is an integral service that we provide to ensure that you can find your scanned documents; weather you are using your own search facilities, or software provided by us.

Double Entry Verification
All data entry work undertaken by Data Direct is keyed in twice and compared by our software to ensure no mistakes have been made. This increases our accuracy for data entry to 99. 5%.

Film Scanning
Many manufacturing and engineering organisations still hold their drawing archive on aperture cards. Now is the time to convert them to an electtronic format that is easier to search, retrieve, read and share. There is an economic argurment for converting aperture cards which you can't afford to neglect! Microfiche and Microfilm were once considered the ultimate in safe, secure long lasting storage - not anymore. It is slow to retrieve and the equipment to view and print is becoming ever more expensive as companies move towards electronic filing. Data Direct will convert cards or rolls of varying sizes to electronic format which will allow you to access the files quicker and share them with more ease.
