Project Management
Data Direct has structured resources to carry out high volume digital conversion of paper documents. Through out the backfiling projects, Data Direct incorporates IDS (Intelligent Document Scanning) to ensure 100% guarantee of quality and usability of the scanned images in court as legal evidence.
Data Direct has converted over 100 million documents to various ECM / DM systems across Middle East and India.

People Intensive Process with High Level of Project Execution Skills
The various IDS techniques incorporated by Data Direct are:
Document Feeding – Mass electronic conversion through structured document preparation. Emphasis is in preparation of physical information, so as to enable document scanning on an application-by-application basis, rather than limiting commands to ‘start feed’ and ‘stop feed’.
Data Collection – Barcodes and Patch codes are used effectively to post process scanned information. The information gathered pertains to document count, page count, client specific information and other fields needed to locate images later.
OCR/ICR and XML – Every scanned image is subject to language based OCR/ICR. The extracted contents are stored as XML data providing links to every page in a document. Each page within the document is stored as a single-page TIFF.
XML4TIFF – Images are stored in the industry open standard TIFF. However, to enable web friendly access to multi-page TIFF, information is held in XML files, image by image.
Audit Trail and Report – A fully integrated software system keeps track of scanning operation, through documents, pages, indices and field values, thus enabling audit trail and reports on daily, monthly and end-of-project. |
